the whole drag scene. I know popular figures. I just know she’s funny. And she can do the tongue pop better than I genetically have
ever been able to inherit. (tongue click attempts) I did it! Yeah, I have my moments. If it happens, I get really excited. (tongue pops to music) – Created an eyeshadow pallet with ABH. It’s very colorful. We also get a cute little fan moment. Oh, oh, wait a minute. Most of the time props in PR
packages are really annoying, but this is something that I like. So today I’m gonna be creating a look using Ms. Edwards’ palette. This video is also done in
partnership with Milani. I’m gonna be demoing their
Make It Last matte spray. As well as their Keep It
Full nourishing lip plumpers a little bit later in the
video after we do the eyes. So without further ado let’s
go ahead and get started. Woo my titties are sweatin’, this actually feels really good. (tongue pops) Now we all know Ms. Edwards
didn’t start the tongue pop, but she’s kind of, it’s
just like her thing. I will talk to my therapist about why I cannot perform the tongue pop. But I feel that with the right help, we will get through it emotionally. So this is Ms. Edward’s palette. It’s named after her, the Alyssa Edwards. I like the wink, it’s really cute. The packaging is very drag. Very drag, oh her
signature is in the back. That is so cute. It says that it launches May 29th. So there is a sign-up list. I don’t know if this palette
will be live by the time this video goes out, but
I do see a sign-up list. Yeah you guys, I don’t see a price. Let me see. Okay, okay, okay $45. That’s not really that much different from all the other (mumbles). This is right up on par with the average price of
all the other palettes. This is the color scheme. So this is, obviously, not
your great aunt’s palette, like you have to really be in the color. You have to really have a certain swag for this kind of palette, you just do. It’s very colorful. Lots of cool tones,
lots of primary colors. We have a cobalt blue, a
fuchsia pink, a bright yellow. All there is missing is a primary red. Like that’s the only thing I
feel like could be missing. They’ve put the shadows in such a way that your eye already kind
of coordinates the look. So the blue is next to the purple, the pink is next to the
shimmer equivalent of it. I do think that there is a science behind what order they put shadows in. Sometimes the order
that the shadows are in can make or break your look. Or it can totally discourage you from wanting to use the palette altogether because you’re like, I don’t
know what to do with this. (groaning) The fact that there’s a dark matte black, not like a soft matte black. There’s a dark matte black, and there’s also a dark matte brown. She called Back Rolls. I don’t know what the
significance of that is, but I do know that
today we are going pink. (rapid gunfire) Bright pink at that. Fuchsia pink is actually one
of my least favorite colors. But, funny enough I always
love to point that out right before I’m gonna wear it. Freakin’ idiot It’s just not a color that I
naturally gravitate towards, but today I’m just really feeling inspired by these pinks and these purples. This whole little block of color here. May even throw some yellow
on there, we’ll have to see. ABH, I will say does make
some of my favorite shadows. Far as the quality goes, the pigmentation. They actually show up on dark skin. There’s no point of having a palette that’s got two, four, six,
eight, 10, 12, 14 shades, and they’re all dusty, rusty
and musty on my complexion. I look at everything when
it comes to palettes. I look at, are their colors dark enough to fully make a whole look? So I started off with a little bit of Born This Way concealer on my lids because I wanted to, you know,
start with a blank canvas. ABH also has a eye primer
that comes in this launch. Not sure if that’s new or
they just threw that in to go with this particular launch. But we’re gonna try it out
for the first time today. Also I’ve noticed that some brands have been doing this thing where you can buy the
whole PR kit as a whole. Like the one that they send
out for press and stuff. Not sure if that’s gonna be available with this particular launch. I just thought I would point that out, ’cause a lot of people like
to have the experience, the whole influencer
unboxing and all that. Which I think is kinda fun. So the eye primer looks like this. It is a really light cream base. I’m hoping that it kinda
disappears into the skin, because that’s really light. I wouldn’t normally go for an
eye base that’s that light, unless of course it blends out. It’s very, very opaque though. Remember when NYX had
the NYX jumbo pencils that everyone used to use. Like if that came in liquid,
I feel like it would be this. It’s kinda doing the same thing. You know what, almost like
a really thick concealer. This is pretty cool for like,
when you trying to do color. That white is real. Gonna make those colors stand out. The contrast. I expect there to be a fall out war. Long night of fall out shortly. (humming) So I think the first color I
wanna take is Unicorn Tribe. I like that, that’s a
really unique purple. I know one thing I bet
not do is demonetize this video for these Alyssa Edwards clips. Could you imagine if they
really demonetize my video. Like, I might have to call Susan. I might have to call the
CEO of YouTube myself. So I’m gonna go right
in with Unicorn Tribe. Get yourself a big girl
magnify mirror folks. Especially when you want to be real precise with colors and stuff. I hope y’all can see me. If you can’t, oh well. Lots of kick back but you know what like, I just, (sighs) it’s messy
but I expect to see that when there’s a good amount
of pigment in a color. So anyways Unicorn
Tribe, we’re gonna start working that around my crease area. It’s kinda neon-ish, and
sometimes when you’re working with these really
bright neon S colors, they start to like, when
you start to blend them out, they just start to look,
they start to darken, and get patchy looking. So, let us pray. So far, so swanky. She looks pretty good
but I’m almost scared to like overly blend it. Once I put the color on I already know, already know I just expect
it to start getting patchy. Which is really annoying. Where these colors that most people, would like stop, drop and roll for. ♪ Ooh baby I love your blend, ey ♪ She’s cute. Now the weird thing is, I feel like on camera this looks pink. It’s definitely purple. So if this is pink, then what the hell is
Texas Made gon look like? I’ve been really taking my
time blending out my shadows because a lot of y’all
are so mean when it comes. I feel like a lot of times when it comes to my makeup application, like my shadows, I just
kind of throw them on. And I’ve kind of lost
the art and enjoyment of sitting there and taking my time and blending and stuff like that. So, yeah sometimes I definitely feel like my shadow game could be stepped up. But it’s only because I just don’t put in the time I want to blend that out the way I really could. Maybe three, kinda longer
though, like six months or so, I’ve been really taking my time. And when I go out I give myself
enough time to do my makeup. And it feels really good. It really feels really good. I feel like I have really re-enjoyed the art of doing eyeshadow, you know. Okay, I’m talking too much, sorry. Next I’m gonna take Texas Made, which is this bright shade here. I’m hoping it doesn’t take this look to a whole ‘nother realm because I feel like if
Unicorn Tribe was this bright. See, oh it’s not that bad. I’m treading very lightly. Alyssa’s from Texas right? She definitely gives
me very southern bell. I would be fascinated to know
like, being from the South, what that’s like being so
out there and so creative. I just love to see people living their best damn lives to
their fullest potential. So Texas Made, I went real light girl, like I barely even tapped my brush. Like I tapped my brush
in one time for one time, and then I’m taking Texas
Made and I’m blending it like, around where we popped Unicorn Tribe. So far she’s cute. I also lately instead of,
uh what do they call that? Cateye-ing my shadow looks,
I’ve been more rounding them. I feel it just complements
my face shape more. And it compliments my eye shape more to make my shadow more rounded, more than stretched and
dragged out, you know. No pun intended. Now, I’m not gonna add any more shadow. I’m just gonna wipe off
my brush a little bit, make it clean. And then around the edges
blend it a little bit more so it looks little more lifted. And ignore buster brown here. I added a little bit more Texas Made right at the inner corner. Just underneath the middle of my brow. That’s kinda been my signature now. I’ll take my transition color and really kinda concentrate
it right in this area. And then buff and blend that out. Don’t ask why, I just
feel like it is editorial. So um, next I’m gonna take Beyond. We always see matte fuscha, like that’s the easy thing to do. But Beyond is a shimmer fuchsia
that I need on my lids now. Right the hell now. I thought it was about to be
a little sheer translucent, but she wasn’t, she’s got color. The shadows didn’t do that stupid freakin’ darkening blending thing that they do whenever you use bright neon. Praise the Lord. Y’all need to get right with God. The reason why you ain’t
blending out shadows right is ’cause you not right with God. You better pray and kneel. Bend the knee and your stuff
will start blending right. I didn’t even have to wet my brush. Like that looks bomb. Ooh, yes! (dramatic music) These shadows are so far doing exactly what I want them to do. And most people at this point would have reapplied
their primer on the lid. Nope, didn’t do it. Laziness, there’s a name for it. I didn’t do that and the
shadows still look bomb. Outta all these colors, they have the nerve to
put in a couple neutrals. Mhhm okay girl, we know, we get it. I’m gonna take Inspire, and this is actually
a really pretty color. I get it, you gotta have a
couple neutrals, you know. What I did was I started popping this towards my inner corner. And then I’m gonna angle my brush so that it just looks like one line. Kind of like basically a fake cut crease. A fake counterfeit cut crease
basically right around here. You can actually use your socket
as a way to cut the crease. So just very, very lightly, especially those of us
that are not insured. Be very careful with this next step okay. We’re going to just gently press right into this socket and like, I don’t know that just kinda does for me. It just makes the shadow
look really intensified and really harsh so that it looks like we cut the crease, but we didn’t. Told you, the word is laziness. I’m still falling back to
my old ways and old habits. And um, we’re done. Just kidding, we’re not. I’m gonna take this LA
Girl Shock Wave Neon Liner. The color is Vivid, it’s just purple. And I’m gonna pop that along my water line which if I’m being quite honest, does not apply very well
down there but it’s cool. That ain’t no problem. Like I gotta really
lay it on thick, thick! To get it to show up. I almost feel like this
is looking more ’60s instead of it is ’90s. I’m not mad at that either. DDG needs to have a moment, so we’re gonna give DDG a chance to shine along my bottom lash line. I love to do swapped colors. Sometimes monochrome is fine
but then, you know like, switch it the hell up. So DDG I’m gonna blend

it doesn’t mattify at all, I would still use those types of sprays just to kinda take away the powdery look from my overall makeup finish. So this claims to mattify
the skin for up to 16 hours. I haven’t tested it that long, but those are just what it claims to do. It is a matte charcoal setting spray. I am really into this
whole charcoal craze. So I’m just gonna get my
hair and my lace out the way. Don’t clock me. It has oil absorbing,
charcoal powder and silica, which helps tone down the shine. My favorite part though
is the smell it has. It has like this fresh,
eucalyptus kinda smell. It says hold 10 inches from your face. I don’t know if my arms
are even that long but, Imma go for it. Instead of spraying directly on my face. Please don’t shoot the setting
