Daiso Haul! Repeat Items, Household Goods & Fun Stuff

[music] [static] Hello! This is Akemi. Today, I have a Daiso haul for you! In case you don’t know what Daiso is, it’s a Japanese store where most things are only a $1.50. On their website, it looks like in the U.S., there are currently locations in California, Washington state, and Texas. There are a lot of fun and cute things there, and also handy, helpful things. When I go to Daiso, I’m usually on the hunt for repeat items and things that might be useful around the house. OK, let’s start! [cork pop] The reason why I went to Daiso this time was because we were running out of trash bags. These 30-liter trash bags are a repeat item for us. They work perfectly for us because our trash can has two compartments: one that’s 30 liters for trash and one that’s 16 liters for recycling. Instead of being rolled up in a box, the way you take out these bags is pretty different. [rustling] [rustling] [rustling] [cork pop] Another repeat item for us are these cotton swabs. I know you’re not supposed to put these inside your ears, but sometimes you just have that urge! [rustling] I like how they come in a small container as if it’s reminding me not to stick these things in my ears every day. The tips of these are bigger and less pointy than some other cotton swabs. [rustling] [cork pop] At the store, I remembered we completely ran out of coffee filters, so I’m trying these for the first time. These ones are equivalent to the #4-size coffee filters. They’re made without bleach and without glue. [rustling] [rustling] [rustling] [whistle] [ding] [rustling] [cork pop] Another thing I got related to coffee-making is this bottle cleaner. I don’t even know what we did with our old bottle brush, but our coffee carafe is getting kind of gross. [rustling] I’m hoping this bottle cleaner will do a good job at cleaning the inside of the carafe at the very bottom because of the pointy shape of the sponge. I already have one small, mesh laundry bag from Daiso, [cork pop] and I decided to get three of these bigger ones for things like our bulky sweaters. [snip] I like the color and print of this bag, and it’s made out of a thicker fabric that does a good job at protecting our clothes in the washing machine. [cork pop] Next, I got chocolates by Dars which is a well-known brand in Japan. Never tried them! [cork pop] I got the dark chocolate and the milk chocolate. [rustling] [snap] [rustling] [cork pop] The last thing I got is this Unchi-kun, Solar Bobble Head “Mr. Poo.” [rustling ] [snap] [snap] [snap] I’m just gonna stick this in the bathroom and not even tell my husband. Keh keh keh. [music] Thank you for watching this video! So, have you been to Daiso before? What are some of your favorite items? Please comment, and let me know.
