Lush How It’s Made: Brazened Honey Fresh Face Mask

(smooth upbeat music) Hi, I’m Jamie, and today we’ll be making Brazened Honey Fresh Face Mask. Jamie will be compounding. Oh hey, that’s me! (laughs) We’ve recently switched up this
formula to remove the eggs, but we’ve left in all of the scrubby, glowy ingredients that
make it a fan favorite. To start, we add together
dried juniper berries, dried rosemary and dried sage. Then we add boiling water
to create an infusion. We let everything steep and then squeeze it into our mixing bowl. We replaced the eggs
from the original formula with creamy silken tofu and
skin-balancing aquafaba powder. We mix them up and then
add them to our infusion. Next we chop loads of soothing fennel and stimulating ginger, give it a rinse, a toss and
a bit of a splash. (laughs) A little splash. Then we gently wash fresh
parsley and coriander then mix them in, too. We add a heap of softening
glycerine for good measure before blending everything together. Once combined with our infusion, we add hydrating almond
oil, soothing honey and brightening lime juice, oi that was a tough one to open, along with some skin-softening soy yogurt and a spicy blend of essential oils. Finally, we dust in warming spices like cardamom and turmeric, and add ground almond shell and kaolin for their gentle exfoliation
and cleansing powers. We give everything a final mix before heading to the potting table. Now all that’s left is
to just fill our pots, screw on the lids, add the labels and send them off to a store near you! And that’s how we make
Brazened Honey Fresh Face Mask. Thanks so much for watching. Be sure to check out our other videos and please leave a
comment below so we know what you’d like to see in
our next How It’s Made video. Cheerio, see you next time! (laughs)
