REVIEW: Local Makeup Brand Pili Beauty

REVIEW: Local Makeup Brand Pili Beauty

Hi! Today I want to talk about this local brand that I’ve been using for some time now. I discovered it back in April 2016. The brand is called Pili. Currently I’m wearing this Tinted Lip Balm and the shade is called Blushed Pink. It’s a local brand here in the Philippines and it’s made of the Pili oil and the elemi oil extracted from the pili fruit and the pili tree What makes it great is that it helps out farmers in Region 5 in the Bicol area. It also promotes the local industry. Many foreign beauty brands buy elemi oil and pili oil from the Philippines and when it comes back to the Philippines as that product or products of those foreign brands, it’s now ten times to a hundred times super expensive so we can’t even afford our own products and now that we have something like Pili, we can now harness the power of pili oil and elemi oil, and enjoy its anti-aging miracle benefits that other countries are enjoying as well. Who knew that we had something as amazing as this in our own backyard? Well let me go through some of my favorite products and you can see this actually my favorite product. I just really don’t like the packaging. I use this a lot as you can tell from the packaging. This is the Pili Lip and Cheek Tint in Classic, and then this one is in Latte. This is what brand new packaging looks like and it’s really great for for when you need that extra flush, flushed cheek look. I would highly recommend this to girls who want a 2-in-1 product so for example, me, I don’t like carrying blush product or I don’t have a blush compact in my makeup kit because i have this, so I don’t need to bring one anymore. It also doubles as a really good lip tint. I have this new product. It’s their Pili matte lipstick. Matte lipsticks are really popular nowadays and they decided to come up with their own matte lipstick, which is amazing. So still, the packaging needs work because sometimes when you try to remove this seal, the packaging comes with it. kinda peels off. Take note that I have the Pili Tinted Lip Balm as base, so it’s not as matte as expected from the look, but I love this color. It’s Pili Matte Lipstick in Plum. I love dark colors. It really complements my skin tone. Other products from Pili that I really love are the Pili essential oils. This kit has five, normally you can purchase that individually. One of my most essential oils blends is the vapor blend, so I use it when my nose feels stuffy or congested, or when I have a headache. Other essential oil blends also are very helpful like this one the Bug Me Not blend which helps with mosquito and other insect bites Lastly, we have the Pili Hair Serum, and what I really like about the Pili Hair serum is that you can wear it overnight. You can apply it on your here and just go to sleep with it and it’ won’t stain your pillow cases. This one is a great way to keep your hair moisturized, especially if you’re like me who bleaches a lot, and uses hair color every three months, so this one will keep your hair healthy and shiny. So I love the packaging of the Pili Hair serum. It has this tiny dropper, just press the gold button on top and then once you have the desired amount, just pour it on the palm of your hand and apply it on your hair. It really smells lovely as well. There are a lot of other Pili products like the the Body oil and the Crystal Deo and the Body Soap which I haven’t tried yet but so far, these are the products that have made it to my makeup arsenal, or my makeup kit. I rely heavily on the Pili Tinted Lip Balm, especially on days when I don’t feel like wearing lipstick. It adds that pop of color on my lips and really helps make me not look like a zombie especially on lazy days. And then this is still my ultimate favorite, the Pili Lip and Cheek Tint, because it’s a 2-in-1 product, you can’t go wrong with that. My last recommendation would be the Pili Matte Lipstick. which won a Beauty Manila award last year. I have all four products of Pili Beauty that have won a Beauty Manila award last year, so that is the Pili Hair serum, the Matte Lipstick, the Lip and Cheek Tint, and the essential oil blends. You can go to BeautyMNL.com or the Calyxta website to order your very own Pili matte lipstick or any of the Pili products I’ve talked about and more. And also check out their website, PiliBeauty.com Also check out their Facebook page Search for Pili Beauty on Facebook If you like this review, please drop me a comment or subscribe or hit like and that would really mean a lot to me because I’ve been enjoying vlogging a lot as you might have observed so it would be a tiny bit of encouragement for me to see a like or if you leave a comment. Thank you guys, thank you so much.
